- Massage Therapy: 12 sessions 
- Chiropractic: 25 sessions 
- Acupuncture: 12 sessions 
- Counselling: 12 sessions 
 If you need additional sessions after this period, your practitioner can submit a treatment extension request to ICBC on your behalf.

      No — there are no user fees or additional costs once your claim is approved. Your treatments are fully covered under ICBC’s rate agreement.

      No, a doctor’s referral is not required to begin treatment under an active ICBC claim. However, if your claim is older than 12 weeks or you’ve exhausted your initial sessions, a doctor’s note can support your extension request.

      No — once your claim is approved, ICBC is billed directly for eligible services. There are no upfront payments or user fees. If your claim is still pending, we’ll guide you on next steps and help verify your approval before treatment begins.
